We are all set for a summer of Strength Training at Destination Fitness! Strength training is so vital to the development of our athletes – not only are we getting stronger, we are also helping to prevent injuries which keeps your athlete playing the game they love!! During each session, your athlete will follow a program to maximize strength gains throughout the summer.
My name is Mike Hendrickson and I’ll be overseeing these workouts throughout the summer. I have an exercise science degree from UMD and am currently an owner at Destination Fitness where I lead a number of teams and individuals towards achieving their goals. There are 2 options for the summer strength program with limited enrollment in each. The A.M. option will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:30 – 8:30 am. The P.M. option will be Monday, Wednesday and THURSDAY nights from 7:45 – 8:45 pm. Space is limited to 18 in each session – so register ASAP!
